Ein Ring gefertigt aus dem Schaft eines alten Gewehrs.
Zwei eingesetzte Streifen aus Leuchtpulver in den Farben der Ukraine erinnern an ein Land, das sich gegen den brutalen Überfall seines Nachbarn behauptet.
Die Rückseite wurde mit dem Hammer geschlagen, zersplittert – und anschließend mit schwarzem Kunstharz (Öl) und rotem Kunstharz (Blut) repariert.
So wird die Verletzung sichtbar, die durch Gewalt entsteht, und gleichzeitig die perverse Verbindung von Krieg, Blut und Profit (Öl).
Blood and Oil ist ein tragbares Symbol für die Brutalität, Sinnlosigkeit und Gier, die jeden Krieg begleiten.
Kein Schmuckstück, sondern ein Statement gegen Aggression und für Solidarität mit der Ukraine.

Une bague façonnée à partir de la crosse d’un ancien fusil.
Deux bandes de poudre luminescente aux couleurs de l’Ukraine rappellent un pays qui résiste à l’invasion brutale de son voisin.
L’arrière a été martelé, fracturé – puis réparé avec de la résine noire (pétrole) et rouge (sang).
Ainsi se révèle la blessure causée par la violence, mais aussi l’alliance perverse entre guerre, sang et profit (pétrole).
Blood and Oil est un symbole portable de la brutalité, de l’absurdité et de l’avidité qui accompagnent toute guerre.
Pas un bijou, mais une déclaration contre l’agression et pour la solidarité avec l’Ukraine.

Two inlays of luminous powder in the colors of Ukraine recall a nation resisting the brutal invasion of its neighbor.
The back was hammered, fractured – then repaired with black resin (oil) and red resin (blood).
It makes visible the wound inflicted by violence and the perverse link between war, blood, and profit (oil).
Blood and Oil is a wearable symbol of the brutality, senselessness, and greed inherent in every war.
Not jewelry, but a statement against aggression and for solidarity with Ukraine.
