Terms of service
General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Artinrings online shop operated by Lars Ley. Any deviating agreements must be made in writing.
2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract. An automatically generated order confirmation initially confirms only that the order has been received. The purchase contract is concluded upon our express acceptance of the order or upon dispatch of the goods.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices shown are final prices in accordance with the Luxembourg VAT exemption scheme for small businesses – no VAT is charged (VAT not applicable – Article 57bis of the amended Luxembourg VAT Law of 12 February 1979).
Payment may be made by bank transfer or using the payment methods indicated in the shop.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is available to Luxembourg and Germany. The applicable shipping costs are displayed at checkout before the order is completed.
For available works, the delivery time is generally 5–14 business days. For individually commissioned works, the expected delivery time is agreed individually.
5. Commissioned Works
Works individually made to the customer’s specifications or clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
For commissioned works, the execution, price, delivery time and, where applicable, any required advance payments are agreed individually. Production begins in accordance with the agreement reached.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal. Details regarding the right of withdrawal, how to exercise it and the statutory exceptions applicable to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised can be found in our Right of Withdrawal Policy.
7. Statutory Guarantee of Conformity / Rights in the Event of Defects
Statutory rights in the event of defects apply, in particular the statutory guarantee of conformity. Due to the handmade and unique nature of the pieces, variations in colour and structure resulting from the materials and craftsmanship may occur.
8. Contract Language and Translations
The contract language is German. Where these General Terms and Conditions or other contractual information are provided in other languages, those versions are provided as translations. In the event of discrepancies between language versions, the German version shall prevail, unless mandatory statutory provisions, in particular consumer protection provisions, provide otherwise.
